an old shot from 2011. this old schoolhouse has fallen further into disrepair, i don't expect it to survive much longer. it's a shame, all of the old interesting buildings are disappearing. i don't see modern buildings being as photogenic after they're forgotten by society.

Nice shot. My aunt, a school administrator in Louisiana back in the day, once took me on her rounds to a similarly constructed schoolhouse, many years ago. I was the only kid there with shoes on. Always wondered where any of those kids ended up, and what became of the building. That was about 80 years ago, and now I feel like your building looks. Is that nostalgia?
