The camera club I belong to had it's monthly outing last week at La Jolla Cove. The cove is a great place to photograph Brown Pelicans and other shore birds that are in town for the winter.

Thank you, Mike. Non-breeding adults have white feathers on their head and throat. Breeding adults have yellow feathers on their head and red feathers on their throat.
