The rules on both sides appear to apply only to non-citizens.
Thus Canada will require v******tion of non-Canadian truckers to enter Canada, and the U.S. will require non-U.S. citizens to be v******ted.
Both countries will still permit entry by their own citizens, regardless of v******tion status.

If neither side complies (truckers) there will be more problems in the supply chain

Personally, I’d contribute cash to the Truckers and their unions to strike until Biden and the other wannabe dictators abandon all the mandates. Imagine the public outcry when food is simply gone from the shelves….. Talk about ushering in an immediate wave of opposition to authoritarians….

My food bill has almost doubled in the last year and gas HAS doubled since C***d, so I’m already ‘invested’ in this problem, and I really see few other ways to have those drunk with power cede it.

Not sure where you got that. Nowhere in the article does it say you won't be tested re-entering either country. If you are entering a country you are entering. Doesn't differentiate between returning or not.

So the Canucks can drive down to the border, disconnect, and pick up trailers from the US side, whilst the US drivers can drop their trailers and pick up the Canadian drop-offs.

I've seen teamsters drop trailers at the gate of a place on strike and pick them back up at the gate when they had been filled. I don't see them as a union that gives a sh*t about other unions.

Gas has doubled? I used to pay in the low 3-dollar range. Today I paid $4.09. Definitely an increase, and a possible hardship for some, but nowhere near double. When you feel the need to exaggerate, it indicates that things aren't bad enough, so you exaggerate to attempt to make your case. You shouldn't be concerned. As long as you and yours refuse to get v******ted, and protest wearing masks, gas prices will come way down quite soon.

The thread was about v******tions, until you showed up and threw in testing. If you will give up your job in order to not be tested, you deserve to be unemployed.
