"There's no beauty like old-time beauty - and the pure class that accompanied it..." Thank you for keen insight Joe, totally agree... During the silent film era the virtually entire narrative was achieved via hand and body gestures... The actors realized that they had to be stellar thespians in order to bring home the film's "Story"
Sadly much of that fine art has been overshadowed with importance on the film's script...

It's always nice when both work in harmony with each other...
Thanks again for your continued support Joe.

What you say about old time beauty is so true, not just in photography but in everyday life, everywhere. I moved to Alabama a year and a half ago and I am shocked. In the tiny town of 2,900 people where I lived in Tennessee, when the women went anywhere, they fixed their hair, put on their make up and dressed up a little bit better than whatever they were used to wearing around the house. Down here, in a town more than 10 times that size, the women go out looking like their stringy hair hasn't been combed in a week and hasn't been washed in 3 weeks. They dress like they've been painting the house, digging in the yard or slopping the hogs. They wear no make-up. It's rather sad looking to me. As my late husband once said, "Any old barn looks better with a fresh coat of paint." I don't mean to say that women should overdo it just to run to Walmart with the false eyelashes and sequined blouses, but just like post processing in photography, a little help goes a long way. For what YOU do more is even better and you do a beautiful job. She is a prime example and very beautiful!!! Sorry if some of you do not agree with me. I will always strive to look a little better before going out.
