BTW, is that a blood pressure cuff on the lens that he is inflating?

Funny that you brought this up. I saw that post you are referring to and I was wondering why the lady's breast were not pointing downward. I did want to say something at the time...

Thanks, John. I appreciate you joining in on the fun.

There was a pneumatic shutter release. I had one and it worked ok but didn't have the physical feedback I like with the mechanical ones.

I don't recall ever owning a pneumatic release, but I do remember handling one. I used the mechanical ones a few times. I had one that was only a plunger and a lock screw, and I sometimes slipped off the thumb press when I wanted a longer "bulb" exposure, resulting in a very dark photo (and waste of a negative); I found one that locked as soon as you pressed it down, and that was much better.

I had one of those shutter releases for my old Pentax ME Super back in the 80's. It was ok. Soon as they came out with a release that plugged into the power winder, the air release never came out of the bag again.
