We first visited here back in 1999 . We stopped on our way to Erie ,Pa. At that time it was a complete bridge spanning the valley . No state park . In 2003 a tornado came thru and collapsed half the viaduct. In 2011 they built a visitors center and made it into a state park .Making the remaining standing viaduct into a skywalk . At the end is a glass floor to look thru .
The collapsed sections of the bridge still lie where they fell . https://www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateParks/FindAPark/KinzuaBridgeStatePark/Pages/default.aspx
Finally in 2020 we made our way back to visit. Beware, if you visit during the Autumn colors on a weekend in the fall there will be thousands of people there !!
Luckily we rode our CanAm Spyder and motorcycle parking is at the top of the road into the visitors center
Oh ,and for a nice lunch we stopped at the Little Red Diner in Port Allegany. We're planning another trip but not on a Saturday in Autumn at the height of fall colors !
Hope you enjoy.

I've been there twice, once before the collapse and once after. It was, and still is an impressive sight. You took some really nice photos of the place. I'm planning a trip there later this year, but not on a weekend.

Looks like a popular attraction. Love #7 photo. Lots of well braced, riveted steel in those towers.

Living near the Kinzua Bridge State Park, I have opportunity for frequent visits, if desired. I have been ther numerous times and you are right, it is an excellent place for some vistas. The fall colors are usually quite nice and the visitors are plentiful. Some very nice photos shared, thank you.
