I found this interesting sandstone rock formation in "The Grand Staircase-Escalante" National Monument, southern Utah. This monument is the largest monument managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The monument was only established in 1996 and covers about 1.8 million acres and is one of the most remote place in the U S.

Very well done, beautiful colors. I like the dark of the rock surrounded by the light. Very different.

Magnificent captures of the Temple's of the Sun and Moon, Cathedral Valley, Capitol Reef National Park...a terrific all day drive through rugged country!!
