You're the director, what ever you want to do with your image is your business.

And you are not obligated to explain step-by-step how you arrived at the final product. Can you imagine demanding that Picasso explain himself to you?

Love the hummer! Tack sharp bird, but when the background went out of focus it gives a three dimensional effect that I really like. Very well done. By the way, the fire looked nice with the fawn.

Thank you. I deliberately added some blur to the fire so it was consistent with the location of the fire.

If you are talking about the hummingbird photo, that out of focus is real. There was not PS trickery used in that photo.

Years ago I took a photo of a fawn looking back at me at as I took it's photo out my window. I have always like this photo but thought how much better it would look if I had a fire burning in the chimenea. I have had many fires in the chimenea over the years but the deer never returned to pose the same way for me.

As I also have photos of fires burning in the chimenea, why not use PhotoShop to move the fire where it was needed?

Is this allowed?

Your picture, your rules.

I cannot see why you want to include the chimenea - I would want to crop it out - see attached

Well, you will have to get a paw printed permit from Smokey.

Heaven forbid that something should be frowned upon in UHH!! Everything! is frowned upon in UHH by someone! Nice job with the hummingbird.

I did, and he did. Unfortunately, I didn't understand.

Fire or no fire I do not believe it is a very good picture.
