Yes, I built a 150 ft log crib dock logging with that tractor. And I also used a 6x8 ft stone boat--(platform of 2in thick planks --without wheels with a piece of boiler plate in front and 2in pipes to keep a load in place---piled five feet high with firewood birch---and it pulled it along with ease. Better than a wagon as you could hitch up in the opposite direction and the stone boat changed directions on its own space. On its 30th birthday, I bought a decal set and repainted it. Decals were still available at that time It was new in 1937.---Eric

P.S.---No electric starting on that model. You have to know how to set the spark for cranking. I purchased it from a John Deere dealer and when he delivered it in Ripon, he broke his arm with a back kick. I hauled it and my other machinery to Sand Island in 1962 when I was 20 and anxious to grow isolation foundation seeds. But no university was interested in my isolation. I had read about a family seed business based on an island in Lake Michigan. But that was an earlier time. I even had a baby combine harvestor with a special "scour-cleen" and its own 4 cylinder engine. ---The fourth gear was 4.25mph! It also had a "hot manifold" to burn #1 fuel or diesel oil after starting the engine with gasoline. A bit smokey--but more power yet. Horsepower was measured differently in those day--by the Nebraska test methods. Those were "real horses" measure--not like later days. This W30 was 30 horse on the belt and 15 on the drawbar. But, as I say could pull a 4bottom 16in plow in loam. It had little wear when I bought it as it was never converted to rubber tires. Probably used more for belt power. It was all a good experience, though.---Eric
