We visited this site in December but there wasn't much going on that day. We did encounter a Violet-Crowned Hummingbird however which was a first for me.

The Paton Center is a great place to visit and see a good variety of Arizona Birds and Hummingbirds. this is managed by the Tucson Audubon Society.

This is one of the few places to see the Violet Crown in the U.S.

The last time I stopped by, the Violet Crown was a no show.
