Nice shot. A year ago I did a test of my collection of Mamyia 645 lenses on the GFX50 via adapter. I was considering getting the GFX and using my extensive collection of Mamyia lenses. As it turned out, my Sony a7Riv was better. So I sold all my M645 lenses and cameras. At that time Fuji only had a few lenses and they were very expensive. I think Hasselblad Lenses might work quite well on the GFX if there is an adapter. The GFX system is very nice.

Your lovely pictures of my favorite digs are making soooo homesick. I lived in Pioneer for 25 years and spent many days exploring the arras you have been showing us recently. Oh, to be back in the mountains again. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, it's a small world! I lived in Pioneer when I first moved up here-- I lived off of Williams Road. I still go back to this neighborhood to visit friends, in fact I was there just a couple of weeks ago. :)

I've been tempted to try out some Mamiya 645 lenses but have held off. I pretty much have all the focal lengths covers expect wide angle, and the Fuji GF 23mm is tempting me. But yeah, VERY expensive lenses!!

I had all their wide lenses lenses 35mm and 45mm plus everything up to and including 300mm, the soft focus lens (one of my favorite} I would not waste your time or money. They were good in their day but just don't measure up to the resolution requirements of the GFX system. That is why I suggested the Hasselblad lenses. You can't go wrong with the Fuji Lenses.

Ok, thanks for the info-- good to know. Yep, the Fuji GF lenses are excellent...

This is Monitor Pass in California, looking southeast to Nevada. The pass is over 8,000 feet in elevation and overlooks the basins of the Carson River and the West Walker river to the east. I just happened to catch the last of the sun's rays hitting the peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Image taken with my Fuji GFX 50R and Fuji GF 45mm f2.8 lens. This is the only Fuji GF lens I have at the moment, but I've been eyeing the GF 23mm f4. Non-native wide-angle lenses on the Fuji GFX tend to vignette heavily as they cannot cover the sensor completely, so I don't use any of my vintage wide-angles with this camera-- only 50mm and above work with no, to little vignetting. The Fuji GFX series has a (negative) crop factor of .79, so 23mm would equal 18mm focal length in full frame. The lens I have, the 45mm, is equal to 35mm in full frame.
