Cindy, it is my pleasure once again. It would be nice to have the off-camera file to work with for the resolution should be much higher than that of an image for on-screen viewing.

Lifting a photo from the web will never be the highest resolution which is why the featured folks in the photo are not as sharp they could be when working with the original source file. Also, JPEG files are highly compressed with much of the data stripped away when saved, and "magical math" is used to fill in its best guess of the missing data when opened. Great for file size, not so great for other reasons for each time that they are opened and resaved, a bit more gets stripped out.

Even the best sharpening software, "And all the King's men, cannot put Humpty Dumpty back together again."

I wish I had a better photo to start with but that photo was taken with a phone and not a very good camera on it either, my sister took the photo and then texted it to me..so this is all I have to work with.

Once I attach the photo to the cross stitch...frame it under glass and they hang it in their home...it should be fine just not as good as a professional photo.
