Flame and Horsehead

I took the R6 and Tamron 150-600mm G2 for a test run tonight to see if it would work on the Horsehead.
This is a stack of 15x5sec @f6.3. 600mm ISO @12500. I had it mounted on a iOptron Sky Guider mount and was pretty happy with the results.
I processed the subs through Canons DPP V4 and then aligned and combined them in Nebulosity and then into Topaz AI Clear for the final tweeks.

Thank you. Most of my astro images are due to luck not skill. I'm always amazed at some of the quality images posted here and they just make me want to try to see what I can get.

That's not entirely true alberio , I've progressed from the early days of not knowing a whole lot and throwing all the data except for the stuff that doesn't line up into the image . Your always learning something in this awesome Hobby. Keep your eyes to the sky you may see the Webb telescope.

Really nice image. I'm impressed that you can get this image with stacking 5 second exposures.

Total 75 sec 15x5sec. Did you notice the ISO?

Yep. High ISO didn't seem to add much noise in this case, stacking probably helped decrease the noise.

The Canon R6 has good low light capabilities. Large pixels help.
