raymond our team has a good reputation in our market...
I'm only one player here... Many of our assignments come from our team members efforts!
"What goes around comes around" We all try to work in perfect harmony together... which btw makes for a Fun Shoot!

Wishing you all the best in 2022!
Cheers! Thomas

Since Lindsey's Headshot was well received I'm sharing some of the actual session images.
The Headshot was only a "Test Exposure" however her mom totally loved it so I did an 11x14 for mom
Below are several others from the session... The Beauty Genre are for our team's MUA and Hair Stylist while the Fashion Editorial is for my book. Hope you find them interesting!
Thanks!

Thank you John... Albeit I currently believe that I kind of like Lindsey's mom's favorite... the initial Test Shot.
Moms always know best! :)
Cheers! Thomas
Love your photography work. Excellent!

Paramount (Butterfly) Illumination (BD with Sock) and Strip Box Kickers (with grids).
Wishing everyone a fabulously successful 2022!
Cheers!
Makes you look more than once. Kind of like the Mona Lisa
Thank you so much for your very kind words Barry...
They are truly appreciated!
Trust you're now enjoying your D600 w/ the AF-S 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens!
btw, since you previously asked about other "Photography Sites" so if you are interested in working with beauty and fashion models then you might consider joining Instagram and populate your "Feed" on IG with images you have taken that represent the genre you wish to work in.
IG as many "Meet & Greet" events where perspective models & photographers meet up to exchange services i.e. expertise. However once you have clients and a good portfolio (or simply deeper pockets) you might query Model Agencies in your market area to see what may be available.
Please keep in mind that most commercial (full time) models are located in major population centers.
I've actually worked with Directions USA Modeling Agency in Greensboro, North Carolina for a Beauty Genre assignment. Their model was absolutely outstanding!
Directions USA Modeling Agency is located on 3922 West Market Street; Greensboro, NC 27407
https://www.directionsusa.com/divisions/womenYou'll want to look for talent in their "Development" Division...
Their Fashion Division talent command considerably higher fees.
Hope this helps or is at least food for thought Barry...
Cheers! Thomas
srg thank you so much for your very kind words...
albeit it is Lindsey (and our team) that warrants all credit here...
Wishing you much success in moving forward into 2022!
Cheers! Thomas
I see that you are starting off 2022 in a great way Thomas. Wonderful image of a beautiful HS senior.
I would love to spend a week with you and observe your lighting set ups. You are one of the best I have seen in this area.
Stay safe my friend.
Don
Thank you so much for your very kind words Joe...
And your continued support!
Wishing you much success in 2022 Joe!
Cheers! Thomas
Don I totally agree about Lindsey's latent beauty...
She is simply stunning on set...
And thank you so much for your continued support and very kind words Don... They are truly appreciated!
Thinking I should start posting my lighting diagrams again...
In this scenario it's rather straight forward... The BD (beauty dish) is 24" above and 24" in front for both the tight headshots... a tad further back for the profile to showcase Lindsey's gorgeous long tousled blond tresses.
The Fashion Editorial was with a three light setup... a Silver Parabolic overhead on a boom arm.
A 30"x40" Softbox camera right and a 60" Octa Box camera left (split lighting).
Lighting ratios where determined several days before the shoot using a manikin and a Sekonic L-308S Lightmeter:
https://www.amazon.com/Sekonic-Flashmate-Digital-Incident-Reflected/dp/B000BTCJNGMy Sekonic L-308S is well over a decade old and still functions perfectly! Trying to balance lighting ratios without a light meter is an arduous task, way too time consuming!
Hoping this helps Don...
Much success in 2022!
Cheers! Thomas
Beautiful woman, very nicely photographed. Interesting expression, though. She looks slightly annoyed.
Appreciate very much you sharing your work.
