Good-looking bread and great photography. I just checked out King Arthur Baking and a few other sites for recipes and your image is the best I've seen. Nice baking and photography!!

Thank you, I have tried the King Arther recipe and it looked OK but the dough was hard to work with and that surprised me, it was a smaller dough and rolled out the disks were only about 8" and tuff. I like a 10" disk (BIGGER is Better) and easier to work with. this is a modified recipe that I like.

Thanks, I may have to practice a few times before the next family gathering.

This is my 5th time making this and each time it's quicker and looks a bit better. Very yummy and simple to make/bake, I do glaze it but it looks best with no glaze or with a white glaze, my flavor preference is a cinnamon glaze but that looks bad because of the lack of contrast. I am going to get some clear cinnamon flavoring and that should fix things.

Well, this sure looks great to me. I would almost want the recipe, but I can't believe it is not a bit tricky to make. --Richard

In a nut-shell make the sweet bread dough cut into 4 same size balls roll into a round thin disk 1/8 ' or less place one on parchment paper cover with 1/3 of the filling, next ball roll into a round thin disk 1/8 ' or less place onto the first disk with filling and repeat.

It does, and you can fill it with cheese and herbs too, many options.
