Playing with long night exposures & off-camera lighting. Used a Litra Torch held a few feet away from my iPhone 11ProMax to quickly paint the subject, with the majority of the 30 sec exposure using only available light. There is a streetlight off-camera left illuminating the wall. The moon is in the clouds.
I love the colors, I hope you do too!
Wow Mike! What an intriguing illumination scenario!
Red & Green are complementary colors... And typically work extremely well together as they did here...
My compliments to your ingenuous lighting! I would have never thought of using an a Litra Torch to "paint" this scene! How cool is that!
btw, I had to smile at your BIO... Yep Wedding Photography is oft equated to Combat Photography in the trauma it brings to the image equation... One of my colleagues shoots Weddings and simply says, Weddings? No problem it's aw easy as herding cats... lol
Wishing you all the best on your journey and a fabulous Holiday season with Family and Friends! Cheers!
That’s a very interesting photo, Mike. I like it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes specifics.
I’d rather herd cats! … & in combat photography, at least you can shoot back! I pity the poor wedding photographer; & have told people looking for one, whatever they charge, PAY IT!!!
Yeah, I love to experiment with different ideas & equipment to see what results I can get. I’m glad you like it!

Very interesting use of light! Nice work!
Thanks everyone, glad you like it!
It’s amazing what’s in the dark, & with today’s cameras/phones it’s easy to experiment & explore.
