Rutledge Falls, Tullahoma,Tennessee. In order to get to the falls you have to cross private land but the landowner's have granted public access. It's a short walk from the parking area to the falls. Overlooking the falls is a very interesting looking statue. The first thing I asked was how the heck did that thing get here? I have learned that at one time, there were 3 of these lifesized statues on the state capital grounds in Nashville,Tennessee. The statues were acquired from a firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in1859. The property owner near Rutledge Falls had acquired one of them from state aroundduring a remodeling project at the Capital Building. The statue was placed overlooking the falls around 1963.
IPhone 13 Pro Max. Waterfall shot with phone using the Even Longer Long exposure app.
Nice job with your pictures. They all look good but I like the first one best. I have always liked waterfalls.

Thanks for looking. Glad you like the falls, they were very nice in person and very easy to get to.
Outstanding. That iPhone 13 Pro Max really does a fine job, and you got that silky water look nicely. You’d never know it was taken with a cellphone and not a high end camera. Nice job.

Thank You. Merry Christmas to you my friend.
Great subject matter!
I think your statue could stand a little cropping. Try bringing in the bottom & right borders in so that the statue aligns with the vertical 1/3 line. See what you think.
Have you tried boosting your color on the waterfall? I think it would make the background more interesting.
Enjoy!

All I did was crop this photo, with the statue facing towards the center. The mold & lichen on the statue & base seem to pop more & make their own story. There are still enough trees to let you know that you are outside.
What do you think?

Thanks for taking the time to show us your take on the image. Personally, I liked the foreground in my image, but hey, if everyone had the same tastes and likes, the world would most certainly be a boring place.
With your waterfall, I used the iPhone’s edit program. I adjusted the Sharpness, Vibrance, Saturation, Blackpoint, & Brilliance. The mold in the waterfall really pops now; & with the blue tint to the water, I think the tan background pops a little more.
What do you think? Hope you like these.
Keep having fun!
Sorry, the photo didn’t go the last time … try, try again.

Thanks for taking the time to tweak the image. I downloaded your tweak and laid it side by side with my edited image viewing them on a color calibrated monitor. Just eye-balling the two I don't see much difference but it could be my old eyes. Sampling the RGB colors of your edited moss does show a shift in the RGB channels compared to mine.
Thanks for taking the time to explore the image and show me your tweaks.
