We got to keep my granddaughter today. Was able to get a few shots of her. I know some of them are a bit soft in the focus. She does not stay very still. I struggle with hitting focus on my camera a lot if it's not on a tripod and there is no way I can put it on a tripod and get her. All taken with a Nikon D3300 50mm 1.8. Settings varied. Comments welcome!

Thank you! I am thinking about printing some for Christmas presents for her Mom and great-grandparents.

Quite often, soft focus is beautiful. I think that applies here. She is adorable. Mine are all grown and live far away. I miss them. Enjoy every minute!!!

Compare your 3rd & 4th shots … in the 3rd, her face looks fat/flat. In the 4th, her face looks slimmer since the face is angled instead of straight on. You’ll find kids learn how to pose quickly with a little instruction. Teach her to turn & tilt her head, & I’ll bet you’ll love the results.
Have fun!

Way too cute! Aren't grandchildren fun!
Loving the golden "Halo" effect on the trampoline captures.

Those alluring blond tresses are absolutely stunning!
Thank you for sharing Megan...

Please enjoy this wonderful Holiday Season! Cheers; Thomas

Thank you for the tip. She is hard to photograph, she is a wild child lol. I have to take what I can get most times.
