This is something new, and I think it's from Windows/Microsoft. Quite a while ago, red lines started appearing under misspelled words. Right-clicking would show suggested substitutions. Now, I see double blue lines. To get suggestions, I have to right-click and then press Alt-down-arrow.

With conscious effort, you could make it your last.

It's grammar related warning..from what I remember it's usually used around double spaces and stuff like that. You can turn it off in the preferences.

As many know I am no fan of Microsoft or their products, but that one is an easy fix.

I use a free program called "tiny spell". Works great with almost any windows computer program. I am a terrible speller and sometimes mis-type even words I know how to spell. Problem I have is without a spell checker when I go back over the text even words I know how to spell but have mis-spelled look OK.

I am that exception, I love the new spelling and grammar checker. It gives people the impression that I know how to write, in English.
My only complaint is that it doesn't work with Adobe Indesign.

Social experiment to see how much control they can force on you.

I use Libre Office, so I don't know off the top of my head. I googled "turn off microsoft word grammar check" and it came up.

I do use it . . .
However, some of the "Auto_" have other ideas about how something should LQQK, read, or spill.

These blue lines appear right here - on UHH - and almost everywhere else.
