spruce flats falls in Great Smokey Mtn National Park

Recent Photograph at spruce flats falls in the Smokies. It’s a Rigorous hike 2 miles each way but worth it. Elevation changes 600’ twice each way but well worth the hike. This one represents what I like in waterfalls. I don’t like washed out solid blur like some folks. Ymmv.

My opinion, beautiful example of how to capture the movement of a waterfall thru tack sharp foreground looking almost 3D.

Thank you. No it’s not a stack. Just regular raw photo with a few basic adjustments in light room and a little cropping

Thank you. I appreciate you noticing the near 3D look. I was focused on the tree fallen across the lower falls. I’ve been working on trying to get this effect in landscape by not focusing on the thing furthest away. I am pleased with this one
