You have a nice series of shots.
He's a big guy for thirteen. My grand son was a preemie also. He had trouble right from the get-go, could keep anything down. Now he's thirteen and the smallest one is his class. He still has trouble with his stomach.
It's too bad your team lost. But did they try?? Then they didn't fail.

Thanks for the encouraging words about the pics, not my best by far, just wanted to get something up asap as advised by another member of this community. Jr is 13 almost 14, 5'9.5" 222 lbs now was a strapping 1lb 13.4 at birth and in advanced courses in school now. As far as your grandson is concerned he may or may not be big some day but every premie is a winner! and unlike my son I was always the runt of the litter (brothers, cousins, friends) which just made me tougher. Thus far our proudest moment as a family was a couple of years ago when we were selected as the March of Dimes family of the year. Hotdog did tv and radio spots. I can tell by your reply he's much loved!

Wow, I bet when you snapped that pic of him not even weighing 1kg you would've never imagined him playing football in 13 years! I find it amazing that he was only wearing a nasal cannula for respiratory support.

What a miracle! Great pics!

That period is still foggy to me. I couldn't even tell you who or with what took that pic. But you are correct, football was the last thing on our minds at that time. And you and the gentleman from texas are being too kind. My posted pics are so so at best. I will process some cr2 pics that i snapped and post in near future. Spending way too much time here lol! And your either a doctor or a nurse (earth bound angel)

Even better...I'm a Respiratory Therapist! (love my job!)

Well I really enjoy your pics, I will say I am biased...sports pics are one of my fav. My son used to play baseball...so I have literally thousands of pics of him playing. And family pics are my most fav...family is what's most important to me.

Ditto R.T., still med field still an angel! Post some pics. I feel your pain. I got into this due to our kids' sports. Son's football, daughter's basketball. researched cause at the time needed to upgrade from p & s camera and hi8mm video at the same time. Discovered dslrs did both. Did ok until we took trip to Tenn. Lady Vols basketball camp(GO Lady VOLS!!!) reviewed pics/video afterwards and discovered some of my "once in a lifetime" images were less than acceptable. Spent way to much to upgrade equipment from kit gear studied/researched to become better. I don't lose lifetime shots anymore.

This made the season worthwhile
