Thanks, Karin. I do not take particularly good animal photos. Our time with them was spent on caring, feeding, etc. so I left my camera in the car.

I had no idea that Best Friends was so huge. I had thought of them as a shelter, not a whole animal sanctuary. I know of them because I volunteer for Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, OR, (a private feline-only shelter), and BF transports cats to us for adoption. They just sent nearly 20 kitties with 2 drivers by van (17 hour drive) on Thursday. Dedicated volunteers. Great things they do for their rescues.

Thanks for looking. My wife has donated to them for many years as she was very active in our local animal shelter in Virginia. When we moved out here and she could visit, she was in heaven.
