I initially posted some wedding photos here:
Got to Shoot a Weddingwith the caveat that i wanted to edit them further.
I decided to edit one of those image and another else.
The following was the final outcome of the photos.
The first image was crop edited from a boring snapshot.
The second image was an improvement done on an already ok shot.
.
Because everyone was in a hurry, what i got a boring snapshot
Clutter removal and isolation was done on this image. Then some glow effect
This is pretty ok, but the dying plant and pot is out of place.
The eyesore was removed, greatly improving the image without taking away its essence.

I really like what you did with the plant on the last one; the result is very, very good!

Thanks Loren.
It was an eyesore begging to be improved.
How far should editing be pushed?

I totally love the crop of just the bride! I’m sure she does, too. She looks very princess-like!
I REALLY like the crop you did on the bride! I was fiddling around with it on my iPad and opened it in Snapseed and was able to really bring out the lace patterns on her dress and vail. It looked great and I’m sure you can do the same, good luck.

Thanks
I chose the dreamy route and that subdues the contrast.
Its nice you played with it as well, feel free to post your changes here. A properly exposed image has a lot options.
She might also love the options.
