...one of my favorite stops when traversing the Grapevine (I-5 from LA to Bakersfield) is Ft. Tejon, an 1850's US Army installation. This time, after shooting a few inside the park, I spied a road and decided to explore and ended up with a view definitely not the norm: Dead Man's Curve (from the old Ridge Route).
