Amazon prices can change very quickly, up or down. (Of course, "quickly" is the only way prices can change.
) Browsing through tools, there was a cordless DeWalt 4 1/2" saw for $129. I have a Rockwell corded version, so I wasn't interested. Later in the day, it was $139. A few minutes after that, it went to $142. Their price changes must be done automatically based on info pumped into their computers. I just looked, and it's down to $132.
Camelcamelcamel lets me know about drops in prices of things in my Wish List.
I think they monitor what I view then raise the price when I return showing some interest.

Heh...Amazon does monitor everything...but only keys in on what other sellers are pricing a product at.
If B&H has a one day sale on a lens...Amazon routinely matches them for that day.
Some sellers Amazon seems to ignore...I'm sure they have whittled down a fairly sophisticated algorithm by now.

My only suggestion with Amazon is to also check unit prices, I have found there, and with Walmart, that at times 6x1 is cheaper than a pack of six. Different supplies, etc., but sometimes it can be a big difference. Amazon also has coupons or flash sales which don't last long.
Start viewing a lot, but buying nothing, then they will lower your prices!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Funny you mention this, I was looking for a new razor today and the price was $ 179.99. When I accidenty did a page refresh it went to $205! They do some algorithmIy fishy stuff for sure.

That saw is now available only from other sellers, but one seller has it for $132.
I've been keeping an eye on the price of that saw. Someone was selling it for $99 yesterday, and now Amazon has it for $99. The poor guy who bought it for $139 a few days ago.
