SX2002
Loc: Adelaide, South Australia
Went up to one of my old haunts this afternoon, the Wynn Vale Dam. It used to be a bit of a bog but the local council have made it really nice. It has a walking trail around its perimeter and what I really love is the beaut walkway built out over the water. A great spot for "shooting" birds.
Sadly like a lot of places here, the birdlife isn't as prolific as it used to be a few years ago. I don't know why, maybe bush fires..?
The other thing that annoys me is that the Australian White Egrets have taken over, maybe this effects other species..?
An excellent series. That walkway sure provides a lot of pleasure for all, especially photographers. Mahalo for sharing.
Nice crisp captures. What a beautiful area! I especially like the shot of the pink-eared duck—beautiful bird contrasted with the rough texture of the wood. Well done.
A beautiful place and a fine set, Ron.
It looks like a really great place to spend some outdoor time! Enjoyable set
The pigeon and duck are beautiful. It looks like the ibis have taken over part of the park.
