When I try to start Photoshop I get the following message:-
We can’t verify your subscription status.
Your Photoshop subscription will end in 3 days.
We can’t reach the Adobe servers. This may be because you’re not connected to the internet. Check your connection and try again below. If you’re still having issues, please see our connectivity troubleshooting guide.
I have an internet connection that is working well and when I log into my CC account I can see that my latest monthly subscription was take out on 17th October.
Any thoughts on how I can proceed?

I have done that and they suggested that I download a TLS2 (?) file to update my system. It seems to have done the trick.

So are you saying the problem is now resolved after loading the suggested filr from Adobe?
