I am a dummy to start with. I am trying to export photos after I crop into a folder on hard drive. Crop the photos then go to export into a folder and the photos will back to the uncrossed photo. that happens when i start looking at them in grid view. I hope someone can help me. Thank and BE SAFE!!

I’m not at my computer, so can’t confirm these steps… In LR, open the image file. Then, use the Develop module to do adjustments, including the crop. Then exit the Develop module. On the left side of the screen is the Export option, use it and adjust the export settings to your liking. This should produce the cropped image (along with all other adjustments) you are wanting.

On the LR Export panel, look at the options under "File Settings". Check your value in the dropdown box = Image Format. If you have "original" selected, change that to JPEG or whatever value desired. See if that change applies and serves to resolve your issue.
