Have been using digital cameras, Nikon, for several years & they are great. But sometimes a bit too easy maybe. I still occasionally yearn for film & a darkroom. Where in Missouri? I have and have had relatives from one side of the state to the other. Currently only one in Craig (NW corner), another in Osceola (west edge), and a couple in the St. Louis area.
I began with film (Baby Brownie 127 film) in 1960 and graduated through a 35mm rangefinder and several SLRs into the digital age in 2004 (Kodak PAS). Now using D7100. Can't say I'm a good photographer, but I try.
Keep at it and let us see some results, please.

Welcome. Just returned from a visit to Springfield, MO. Was able to shoot around Wilson's Creek, the Botanical Garden, and Natural History Museum and Aquarium. Find what interests you and jump in there! Beautiful Country in Missouri!
