Multi row or straight across? Either way, nice work.

Good one, Ron. A familiar sight for me.

Good job, and a word of advice, in case you are not aware, when shooting a pano, always overlap each image by at least 20% that helps with the line up over all.

Nice work - I particularly like the positioning and impact of the cactus!

Good shot---After being "raised" on brass and glass (film) cameras, it's just amazing what you can do with digital!
This is my first attempt at stitching. 7 handheld shots in the Rocky Mountain NP. Done with Affinity Photo in about 20-30 seconds then a little PP. I purchased it, about 20 minutes before it went on sale for half off, because it offered stitching and focus merge--Great program at a Great price!

Thanks for all the comments. I intend to do more panos in my area. I did a lot of night, long exposure landscapes in San Diego but haven't gotten out in the Phoenix area yet. The hard part is getting the right lighting and the right view. The photo I posted was 8 shots portrait inline. I was practicing doing layers, i.e., 9 shots, 3 horizontal rows to mimic medium format look. I was only able to get my living room for practice so far.

I've been there a few times. As I remember the loop was an 8 hour ride. Your photo says it's 24x72, is that the inch size printed?

Yes-I had it printed as a banner to cover a 5’ wide window in the basement.

So in order to get it printed at 72 inches you had to do it as a banner? How is the quality?

It’s actually really good, so long as you view it from 10’ away and if the light isn’t very good. It’s not a “ wall hanger.”
