Now that's funny because Acorn worked on my Samsung.

Let's face it: electronics are finicky. What works for one person doesn't work for another. Fast for one, slow for another.
This is why I'm saying Acorn won't work on Samsung TVs.
Looking further, it appears there may be a new app for Acorn on Samsung TVs. I'll have to check that out.

This from Acorn TV's website.

Interesting. I guess I switched TVs before that happened. Acorn is a good deal - nice assortment of programs.

I have Spectrum Streaming service and I access it thru Roku connected directly to an HMDI port. It then allows me to select Spectrum, Prime, Netflix and others. I've found that I have "buffering problems" that tend to get worse over time and found that it's Roku that is slowly "loosing its mind". The solution is to reboot the Roku device and then everything reverts to normal (for a while).

I have two Roku devices and have never experienced a problem with either. The older one, about 4 years old, is connected to a receiver and from there to the TV all via HDMI. All devices are hidden from sight in my basement and controlled with a Harmony remote and/or with Amazon Alexa.

The newer one is a stick and connects directly to the TV HDMI.
