Speaking of newscasters Tobers17, what's with many TV folks introducing "Bob Smith and the 'noose'. lately"?
How many times have you heard people say, "I could care less" when they actually mean they couldn't care less?

Drives me crazy when I hear people say Suposively!!!
I agree with all! A local paper used to publish “west Canada with dual at Clinton”! Year, after year….

Did you mean 'grammar'?
Good catch.
My only excuse is that I have lived in northeast Arkansas for over thirty years. I don't mean to be hyper-critical, but I meet a lot of people here who will say, "Don't tell me how to say something! I talk good enough to get along. D@*% Yankee!
I grew up in Illinois. Oh well.

Yes. Or 'supposibly'. Then there is 'undoubtebly'. Given some time, I could come up with a whole string of them.
I must agree! I'm getting so sick of the terrible grammar, but also the pronunciation on TV commercials now days! they flip the letters of words around so much now! Prescription, protection, provider, all come out as purrscription, purrtection, or purrvider. And then there's my favorite hot sauce from Thailand – Sriracha. It is often pronounced "Siracha" instead of Sree-ra-cha. having spent time in both Thailand and Sri Lanka, I know they would be most upset to hear those words mis-pronounced!
