a landscape is part of the Earth's surface that can be viewed at one time from one place. So I guess this "in the woods" shot qualifies.

I don't follow your "no milk" comment but thanks for commenting.

There's nothing like being a "laid back" personality (is that Type B?) and passing time at a babbling brook. Thanks for the comment.

Many photographers slow their shutters when photographing moving water in order to (they think) better show the movement (especially waterfalls and rapids). This creates a blurred and milky water effect, which I think defeats the object and looks most un-natural.
Your shot is beautiful and totally natural from your GX85 at 1/100.

Your picture of a running waterway in the forest while hackneyed rises above for its composition and richness of color and lush foliage. The water surface looks just right.

One suggestion: Clone out that bright spot in the upper-left corner. It distracts.

Now that you told me what you were referring to it should have been obvious. I've been guilty and I still blur the water on occasion but less than I used to. I love the GX85 with in body and in lens stabilization. I seldom carry a tripod any more. This image is a two shot vertical panorama. You are most kind with the compliment and I thank you.
