This was shot by Russell Lee, Pie Town, New Mexico in 1940 as part of the Farm Security Administration's photo project. The original image was/is a 35mm B&W shot on nitrate film. The image was downloaded from the Library of Congress. The colorization is of course dependent on the underlying image and the colors are subject to the interpretation of the individual doing the colorizing, in this case, me. enjoy
