In my recent land tour of Alaska, I was fortunate enough to encounter some days when Denali (Mt. McKinley) was in full view. (They haven't been uploaded to Flickr yet, so they're directly from my computer--they have been PP via LR, though.)

Thank you very much. My tour group was very lucky--we had several opportunities to photograph Denali. Those are rare events.

Great shots, but your sensor needs to be cleaned!

Good shots - interesting (to me) that #2 was shot at 38mm with your 18-200 lens. I would have expected close mountain pics to have been photographed at a longer focal length. Is that the full frame?

Yes, it is. The first 5 pics were taken from an airplane flying near the mountain. The last one was from the highway heading to Valdez--the mountain was directly behind us and we pulled off at a viewpoint to get the photo.

Catching up on responses:

Warhorse, thanks for the thumbs-up! I’m glad you liked them.

Vaun, thank you very much. I like to share.

Nimbushopper, I appreciate your comment. Not sure how to clean the sensor. I thought I’d cloned out all the spots.

Bob, thanks so much for the thumbs up! I’m happy you enjoyed them.

Jerry, I appreciate your comment. So pleased you liked them.

Jay, thanks very much. I’m happy you enjoyed viewing them.

NMGal, I’m glad you liked the photos. Yes, snow-draped mountains are cold.

Mike, thank you very much. I do have lots more but I haven’t selected and posted them to Flickr yet. (They have had their first cut at PP, though.)
