Farmington Bay Wildlife Management Area is an area of marsh lands on the edge of the Great Salt Lake. It is a breeding ground and also functions as a way station for migrating birds. It is near the Pacific and Western flyways.
I like to arrive early to get the rising sun and record the area as the sun spreads across it and then hits the clouds and mountains to the west. This set includes photos looking south initially and then some western captures. The final two shots show what I see as I leave the area.
