Thinking back to my innocent youth trying to become corrupted to fit in with the church declared "original sin" I sneaked a peek at Petty Calendars and being excused by intellectual pursuits, looked at the nude photos in National Geographic Magazine... Here is an issue I missed. By the way, all Russian women were old and fat and swept the streets... cold-war Propaganda at its worse.

It’s cool, but it’s not for everyone. Why would someone make a Kawasaki look like an Indian? Why not get an Indian?

Personally I would prefer a straight up Indian, but as for reasons I'd presume, cost (if the parts are available and you're swapping out a running motor for a trashed one. Performance (the Kawa will have way more power than the Indian). Reliability, (sorry to say, but jap motors are bullet proof). It's a Vtwin and actually looks similar to the original. And of course, just to be different (you know that answer, "because I can"). So, a few reasons there, but as I said, I'd want the real thing! Have a great day John.
