Good photos. I've been there only once but it's the best rail museum I've been to yet. I definitely photographed the snowplow also. Did you see any of the Galloping Geese while there?

Thanks! This was a railroad trip for sure - many more photos. Yes to Geese, and photos will follow at some point!

Thanks very much! Unfortunately I have a bunch of shots from a "job" last night I've got to get done. Maybe some tomorrow!

In the image, it looks like this rotary has a metal body.
In the link below, the body appears to be wood siding. Upgrade.
Also, in the link below, I wished they show the configuration of the cylinders, rods, and the large geared wheel for the rotary blades inside the body. That is interesting as well.
Thanks for posting these Mr. Quixdraw!!

Thanks! I like trains and photographing them, but have not got much background. I photograph the things I know about that might be of interest, but don't know what might interest those with more expertise. The Rotary definitely appeared to have a metal body, in fact it seemed to be built like a Tank.

Nice Shots. They have one at Steamtown in Scranton PA as well. Don't believe it is functional.
