Tom,
Great action shots - you nailed it! I have more volleyball games coming up myself this week, not an easy sport to capture in my opinion with the types of pictures you just posted, especially thru-the-net shots which are stellar!

Thanks Guys,

I appreciate the comments.

I know I often don't shoot cropped in as is the standard or most like.
I know the Guys "Pro's to Me" who shoot for Max Prep's, etc. are very skilled at
capturing close in frontal shots, eyes, etc.

In humor & truth I just have a heck of a time following the action. The kids are
so fast, and these Young Ladies can be very aggressive at the net attacking.

Our Football Season is also being played, I haven't gone to many games due to
My mobility/age, etc. The Volley Ball is great for me, I can sit during the games where
in football to get decent photos I need to be up moving, near or just ahead of the line of
scrimmage.

I welcome your comments, and Your Critique's. Every time someone gives me their opinion,
experience it helps me to enjoy the hobby more, and to learn. I have learned a lot from the good
folks on this Forum.

(There was a Guy named Erv Schact? not sure I got the last name right, He lived
in Medina, Ohio. When I got on the Forum Erv helped me so very much. I use to email photos to him,
He would critique, and tell me what I needed to do to improve, what Equipment, etc. I miss him. I believe
He had a stroke, and gave up Photography, and quit posting.)

And Jules has helped me, Tom tshift has always been encouraging about posting sharing photos. All very much appreciate. And to me really what a good Forum is all about.

Even at age 81 plus I find I learn something every time I use My Camera, and when You good
folks comment make a suggestion, etc., and I really believe it helps keep one's old age brain
working, etc. Vs riding a recliner doing nothing.

Have a Wonderful Weekend,

Be Well, Be Safe, and Be Blessed.

Thanks Guys, br br I appreciate the comments. br... (show quote)

Tom I think volleyball is the hardest sport to photograph. Very fast action in such a confined space. Very hard to follow ball and try and get a good focus. I sent one of my two matches into Max and they didn't accept. I am going to keep at it until I get it right!!!! Keep posting and enjoy I am 70 1/2 now and hope I can still get around to do what we love when I get to your age. ( I hope I make it to the age LOL). Thanks and BE SAFE!!
