I know. Giving advice like this is similar to telling people not to close their eyes when crossing the street. Apparently, inhaling hydrogen peroxide has become a trend to cure Covid-19.

I saw on line the following cures for Covid-19.
1. Sex between 3 and 4 am.
2. Inhaling gas fumes.
3. Eating a raw egg.
4. Running around the house 40 times backwards.
5. Bing watching The View.

That would be funny if it wasn't so sad that someone would believe inhaling hydrogen peroxide could cure Covid-19.

I am guilty of the first three items on your list but it had nothing to do with a cure for Covid, however I would bet a 17 year old young man started that list.

I hear some people are using Ivermectin to treat Covid. The FDA advises against doing that.

Lots of people all over the world are using ivermectin. Do not ingest the topical pour on type. This is causing overdoses and poisoning. In any locals, it is first line therapy or oftentimes, the only therapy available. As to its efficacy , that seems to be controversial as are other therapies.

That depends on the time of day.

Ivermectin has been used to inhibit virus replication in many places for years. Just the FDA is saying it hasn't been certified for that because they never evaluated it for that purpose.

And it was formulated decades ago to fight parasite problems in humans and they got a Noble for it. Only later did Vets start using it to deworm animals.

There are a lot of meds used for humans and animals. Years ago my dog hurt her hip and the vet ran out of the pain killers I was giving her and wouldn't get more for about a week. Well I had a left over bottle of the same thing from a knee injury and I asked him if I could cut them into quarters to get it down to her dose. He told me that would be fine but don't report it since mine had been prescribed to a human.
It worked just fine, except for the "keep inactive to allow healing" part. Jack Russells do not do "inactive" very well.

If I may add to the list. A friend of mine recently received an invitation to participate in a Yoga-like ritual with about 20 others (masks and/or vaccines not required or recommended). The highlight was constant drumming at 22 Hz “which has been shown to prevent infection with Covid”

You can’t make this s*it up.

Let's start a new one:

Wear camo from head to foot including a mosquito net to cover your face and the virus can's see you so you are safe.
Plus you can jaywalk to your heart's content because the cops and drivers* can't see you either.

*On second thought that one may be a problem.

The FDA is against using anything unless it meets the following criteria -
1. They have had the nod from drug companies that they will make millions.
2. Has been tested over a 10 year period.
3. Has had trial groups of at least 5 million involved in the test (preferably tests).
4. Been published in Lancet and at least 10 other main line journals.
5. Has not been associated with having to wear masks or practice social distancing.
That fact that India has had extremely good results against covid by issuing home test kits containing Ivermectin for 200,000,000 of one counties inhabitants.
The blind following of the 'scientific' method has probably killed more people than the virus itself.
