.... a non-stick pan that is actually Non-Stick and useful!! This 10" (?) pan from Ikea is very nice to use. Had it for two years - and maybe used it four times!! Reason? I much more enjoy using my Cast-Iron pans. This nice and Heavy Non-Stick comes in handy sometimes though... This Corned Beef Hash is nice and crispy and slid right outa' the pan!! .....Whooohoo!

I also like the cheap non-stick pans from Sam's Club - in their food service equipment section. They are $15-$30 give or take, and they are heavy gauge aluminum that does not warp. And just like every non-stick pan, even the ceramic GreenPan from Williams Sonoma ($$$$) - they all do lose there "slipperyness" and generally do not take abuse very well. But for $15 vs $150, I'll take the Sam's Club specials.

I've had a number of these over the years and they have all worn out, the cast iron (the original non stick) remains. Based on your comments, I suppose it is time to try again.

Yeah, they wear out EVEN when you are using the right utensils!! I use my nonstik rarely, and for just certain things - like this Hash!! Thank you, quixdraw!
