Wow... I used to enjoy playing around a little with fractals back in the day but never considered incorporating them in photography per se... Now you got me thinking again. Very interesting.

I sometimes use a fractal as a background. Ultra fractal is $35.00 and I've had a jillion dollars worth of fun with it.

Here is a really sloppy example of wrapping a fractal around the main subject.

It's good to know I'm not the only fractal fan. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
PS: I don't know straight up about fractals but like Mr. Bob I sure do enjoy toying with those sliders.
Maybe we should have a fractal forum here on UHH.

Yes. Sometimes I use the "gradient" filter in Ultra Fractals and sometimes I toy with the color in Photoshop. I prefer the former because quite often changing or adjusting one color in UF will give you a totally new and unexpected design.
