Took another run at ol' Sol this afternoon in both White Light and Ha.
The first picture is a White Light image shot with a normal Nikon P1000 camera @ 2400mm focal length. Best of 35 subs.
The second image was shot with a Lunt Ha solar scope (@ 500mm focal length) and Sony Mono A6000 camera. Best of 70 images.
The thin cloud created some interesting shadows but still lots of Sunspots!
Enjoy!

If I may ask, do you use any specific method/software to obtain focus? Your images show really good focus, something I am still working out.
Thanks;
Jim

I used Autofocus with the Nikon P1000. I chose the largest group of sunspots as my focus point.
With the Lunt Solar scope and A6000 I used Focus Peaking as a starting point then zoomed in and fine tuned manually on the edge of the sun and/or the sunspots.
