Grabbed a burger & beer at the local bar and grill. Came out and were greeted by this little guy, waiting for his family obediently in the bed of the pickup. A pat, a scratch or two and a photo. D3, etc.
Good shot. He's adorable.
I would never. ever allow him to ride in the back of a pickup truck. was he tied in?

Well, that one is taken - 4 kids 3 to ten or so in the family. He has a great life, I'd wager!

Nor would I, but it is common in ranch country. I learned my lesson when my first Lab jumped out of my Land Cruiser. To this day, I don't know how he managed, only the side curtains were rolled up and the seats on the side were folded, just a narrow gap for a quite large dog. Fortunately, ex a scrape or two, he was fine. My dogs only ride inside vehicles. The dogs seem to like riding in the truck bed, some will even climb on the toolbox behind the cab. Always sets my teeth on edge.
