Union Pacific "Big Boy" 4-8-8-4 four-cylinder, articulated, steam engine built by the American Locomotive Company of Schenectady, New York in 1941. Engine and tender are 132 feet long and weigh in at 1.2 million pounds. The locomotive has sixteen 68-inch diameter drive wheels. Re-built in 2019 by the Union Pacific. It is a monster machine!
