Locomotives GWB103 and CLP14 are using all of their combined 5,800kw (7,800hp) to haul their freight train through the hills on the northern outskirts of Alice Springs as they continue their journey to Darwin in bright sunshine on Sunday 08th August 2021 after a brief stop in Alice Springs.
The sound of these two EMD powered locomotives working hard was a delight to my senses.

CLP14 now displays the One Rail Australia logo following a change of ownership from Genesee and Wyoming Australia in February 2020.

This diesel fuel tank and fuel transfer arrangement allows refuelling of locomotives "on the run". Note also the crew car for train crew to rest while traveling with the train.
