Hi Harvey
Try taking a shot looking into the sun (not directly at it)
You can actually look into the viewfinder and compose your shot.

Also notice that you can see how the shot will be exposed when taking the shot. (when the feature is turned on)
You can see the histogram, level, and other info in the viewfinder as well if selected.

The actual end result of shots is the same. The difference is a lot of the guesswork is removed.

Show us a picture of your Zfc. Which lens did you get?

Bill, I will post pix later. Gotta go now. I got the kit 16-50 lens to get my feet wet. Also got the adapter but not sure how some of my dozen DSLR lenses will work. New mirror-less lenses will be much more carefully thought out.

Acoarst thaz just the root of the problem.

Then you aggravated things by looking in the mirror, and yet further by composing such a tiresome title for this thread.

Natcherly everything can only go steeply down hill from there. This thread is never going to become even mildly entertaining.

That's fine. It still is annoying click bait.

If you thought it was click bait, why did you take the bait.

You should have ignored it, rather than bringing it to the top of the page by posting.

Not this tired topic again. The question is settled, and I don't feel like arguing the point again. Switching to Sony mirrorless three years ago was a game changer for me. If it isn't for you, that is fine. If you don't want to switch that is fine also.

Can you expand on how it was a 'game changer'?

The grass is always greener when captured with a mirrorless camera.

When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have a mirrorless camera, you can do amazing things.

Only you can decide if you're letting a mirror hold you back from the photographer you were meant to be."

CHG_CANON has written many times how much changing to mirrorless would change my life as well as my photography. So yesterday my Nikon Zfc arrived. I got up this morning, looked into the mirror, but it was the same old me. I took a picture but I couldn't see any difference in the quality or composition. No epiphany. What did I do wrong? :)

Maybe you just picked the wrong brand.

I, for one, enjoy the banter, and the tongue-in-cheek, educated humor. The Zfc is an excellent choice, like a '61 Valiant with Tesla innards...
