Provo River Falls

On Friday we decided to take the dogs up to Mirror Lake for a hike around the lake. On the way, just off UT 150, is a scenic hike around Provo River Falls. At ~8900 feet, the moderate, short hike provides good photo ops of the falls and surrounding area.
As you can see, it was a heavily overcast day (with wind). Although the Uinta Mountains are also experiencing a drought, this high above the valley had a much better water flow than we had expected.

Another beautiful set, Mike. I always find it relaxing looking at waterfalls and listening to the sound of the water. Nicely done.

Thanks, this is relatively low for the usual flow, but not bad considering our drought. There were recent rains which we think really helped.
