Actually, original copy isn't really an oxymoron when used properly. Where I worked for many years there were numerous documents that were copied over and over again, as needed. Unlike many places, the copies weren't made from just any copy as successive copies of copies of copies degrade quite badly. Original documents were copied and filed away. Pretty much all copies were made from an "original copy" thus preventing the degradation that results from copying copies of copies of copies.

Wouldn't the "original copy" be the first copy of the "original document?" I think it's an oxymoron.

Good morning SteveR,

The last thing we needed over the past 18 months was "social" distancing. CDC made a very poor choice in the term in choosing "social" when distancing. We simply needed "physical" distancing and we did it pretty well. Actually, we all really needed each other, a real awareness of each other as never before in the < 100 years. As I said, we did a very fine job in the face of, at times, insurmountable odds.
I am a 72 year old Oxymoronoholic with absolutely no intention of recovery whether an "intervention" is attempted or not.

All the best to you and yours SteveR and keep 'em coming,

Terry

Let's not forget the mother of all oxymorons, Jumbo Shrimp.

Yer ALL wrong.

The real definition of 'oxymoron.'

One who thinks it's OK to use OXY for fun.
