Well, if you are looking for someone to say "It's the greatest thing since sliced bread! Get it!", I won't.
I don't say that about anything, basically, almost never. I may on rare occasion.
I believe in some selecting what they want based on their own evaluation of needs, desires, options, etc..
I'll tell them what I'm happy with using, but I expect them to make their own decision of what to get.

What happens if someone tells you to "get <item>; you'll love it!"; you get it and it really doesn't fit your needs, and you don't like it? Just shot the hell out of my opinions, didn't it.
Just because "I" like something doesn't mean that you will, even half as much as I do.
Unless you wanna be just like me.... Which you are not....
However, there are odds that someone out there will like an item as I do.
I just don't expect everyone to do so.

Have fun deciding.

I didn't know Brother made inkjet printers until I looked it up. But with only 4 colors of ink though, it's more of a business printer than a photo printer. If you are happy with printing photos with it, you would probably notice an increase in photo print quality if you got an Epson or Canon inkjet with at least 6 colors of ink.

I'm not very familiar with all-in-one or low end printers, since I use an Epson R2880, a 13x19 photo printer with 8 colors of ink. I just know that the more colors of ink, the better the photo print quality.

You could always research and buy a printer online.

I often get free shipping buying a printer but I do prefer to go to the store and buy it there. I hate to buy something then wait for it to get to me. Also I would like to see, touch it before I buy it.

Most likely, Best Buy will steer you to purchase the printer that offers Best Buy the most profit. For equally priced printers they will direct you to their most profitable. The difference between the cost they pay and the cost they sell.

I'm a holdout - We still have copper (analog) running to the house.
AND, one phone that is not portable that works when power goes out.
Copper is powered by the phone company.

Nothing quite as reliable as POTS (plain old telephone service) over twisted pair copper

How interesting that in the English language we have a very simple and effective shortcut for
...........reply ends................
Its called a period and it looks just like a single dot.

Which brand is good as my Brother MFC-J985DW just died?

For office or photo? I would get one of the Epson eco tanks for an all in one office printer if they make it. I own a Brother all in one for regular document printing , scanning, etc. does the job but, it uses a lot of ink that I don’t use to keep it from clogging when it is not used often. Actually, it this exercise every 2 days even when I use it regularly. If your main printer purchase is for photos…..
